M50 Open Star Cluster

Messier 50, or NGC 2323 is an open star cluster in the constellation Monoceros. It was first discovered, but not formally cataloged, by an Italian astronomer, G. D. Cassini sometime before 1711. Then, some 61 years later, this beautiful cluster was subsequently discovered and cataloged by our boy, Charles Messier in 1772. M50 is at a distance of about 3,000 light-years away from Earth. Some astronomers say that it looks like as a 'heart-shaped' figure, but I can't see it.
